Kathryn McDonald

House Director

Kathryn McDonald is orginally from a small town located in the high desert of Oregon. She recieved a Bachelor's degree in American and African History from Southern Oregon University. After college, she spent 4 years working in Residence Life at Black Hills State University, located in Spearfish, South Dakota. She recieved a Master's of Education in Higher Education and Student Personnel at Kent State University in May of 2010. She spent four years at the University of Wisconsin, Madison as a Residence Life Coordinator in Chadbourne Residential College. Before moving to Philadelphia, she was at Tulane University as an Associate Director of Residential Education. She has done extensive work in social justice education, leadership development, and teaching. Personal interests include pop culture (particularly comedy, music, and documentaries), her cat, and crocheting.
