Sarah is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences studying Neuroscience and Chemistry. Born and raised in Philadelphia, PA, she is eager to share all of the amazing restaurants, sceneries, and activities that the city has to offer. She finds great passion in delving into the core of Genetic Epilepsy research at the Goldberg Lab, aiming to elucidate the pathology of disease mechanism and discover opportunities for novel therapeutics. At Penn, she is affiliated with the FGLI cohort and serves as an active member of MEDLIFE, KDSAP, and PennScience. In her free time, Sarah enjoys updating her neighborhood cat's instagram, listening to jazz music and true crime podcasts, and cooking anything spicy. She is excited to be serving as a first-year RA and hopes to create a fulfilling community experience.
