Mostafa is a third-year Bioengineering PhD student and a second-year GRA with CHAS. Born and raised in Cairo, Egypt, Mostafa came to the US and completed his Bachelors and Masters in Electrical Engineering from Drexel University in 2020. At Penn, Mostafa is part of the Functional and Metabolic Imaging Group (FMIG) and his research focuses on using dynamic imaging and imaging analysis to study lung disorders. Being in philadelphia for 8 years, Mostafa enjoys listening to music and watching tv shows, walking around philadelphia specially at the Schuylkill river walk and Penn Park, trying new restaurants, and meeting new people! He is excited and loves the GRA role and looking forward for a lot of fun this year!
