Penn/CASE Advancement Internship
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR) at the University of Pennsylvania is partnering with the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE– www.CASE.org) to host The Penn/CASE Advancement Internship program, which seeks to increase and diversify the number of professionals in educational advancement. (i.e. fundraising, alumni relations, advancement services, communications, and marketing).
About the Internship
Since 2016, more than 750 interns have completed the program. Interns work at host institutions for 8 weeks in the summer. Students of all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
WHO: Penn undergraduate and graduate students
WHAT: An 8-week summer internship program
WHEN: June 2 – July 25, 2025*
*Interns are responsible for travel, lodging/accommodations.
Benefits
$5,000 stipend for internship duration
3 days of in-person training in Washington, D.C. (June 22-24, 2025)
Hands-on educational advancement experience at a premier institution
Mentor from your host institution
Matched up with a CASE member in field of interest for Zoom meetings
Participate in online seminars to learn about the various areas of the advancement profession
CASE membership for 1 year, including webinars, library, and Career Central
Ongoing updates on job postings and professional development opportunities after the internship
