The Beinecke Scholarship awards $34,000 toward graduate study to juniors eligible for need-based financial aid who are planning to pursue a research-focused master’s or doctoral degree in the social sciences, humanities, or the arts, with a strong preference for Pell Grant recipients.

In recognition of the need for funds to cover moving costs, recipients receive $4,000 the summer before they commence their graduate studies, and a total additional $30,000 to support their graduate study.
